Episode 11: How to RESET Your Self Care Routine

In this episode I'm sharing 3 quick tips on how to reset your self care routine when you've fallen off the wagon. Life get's busy and seasons change, so hopefully this episode inspires you to start fresh and get back to taking care of you if any of your wellness essentials have fallen by the wayside!

RESET essentials:

  1. Give Yourself Grace. Life gets busy and your needs change over time. Don’t beat yourself up for “falling off!” It’s never too late to start fresh with a clean slate.

  2. Assess Your Needs. As the seasons of life change your needs will evolve as well. Consider what fills your cup and what your mind/body/spirit are craving in the present moment. What activities will fulfill those needs the best?

  3. Create a plan. Set yourself up for future success by scheduling and integrating these new changes into your schedule. This can help even if it’s just temporary i.e. you are in a busy season at work, so maybe you have to double time on self care to keep stress at bay while also being mindful of your time usage.

Journal/Reflection Questions:

  1. What does your mind/body/spirit need currently to support your health?

  2. Are there low priority items that you can off load or outsource to create more time for your health and well-being?

  3. Jot down some days/times you can make time for your self care and the ideal activities that will fill that time.

  4. Write out your idea of the perfect, no time/resource limits, indulgent day of self care.
