I say controversial because some feel like they are essentials, others feel like they can be a little rigid and a set up for disappointment surrounding how your birth actually unfolds. I’m sharing some insight on how you can use your birth plan as an insightful communication tool while also avoiding becoming inflexible with your labor plans.
